I'm a teacher in CPS with over 10 years of experience in education and childcare. I have taught science for students in Kindergarten - 8th grade, and enjoy using what I know to help kids appreciate the outdoors and thrive in many environments. In addition to teaching, I've spent much of my adult life in the capacity of caretaker-- I've worked and volunteered with tutoring programs, summer camps, park district programs, and organizations for individuals with special needs. When I am not working, I enjoy running, reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, exploring the many neighborhoods of Chicago, catching up on the news, and studying meteorology. I place great value on time with my family and friends, and I work hard to form meaningful relationships with all of the kids I spend time with!
