Meet Sarah

Hi I my name is Sarah and I have been babysitting since I was certified at the age of 12. It started with watching my family member's children and then grew to doing a lot of child care work at my church. I first started assisting with a teacher in a sunday school class once a month ( a range of ages from infants to 9 year olds) then when I was in high school I watched about 7 toddlers at once each week for a year. I arranged all their activities from play time to snack time, and would often have to change their diapers, although some were potty trained. I have babysat for families with multiple children varying in ages. Often having to watch the kids during their meals, and getting them ready for their bed times.  I most recently tutored and oversaw 7 girls ages 6-7 once Read more a week for three months with a partner. Each week my partner and I alternated the organization of 2 fun, creative, and academic enriching activities for these girls. We oversaw them for 4 hours each week, one of the hours was devoted to dinner.  I really enjoy working with children, especially getting to know their individual personalities, getting excited with them as they learn something new, and just seeing them grow and change.
