I have been working with children for 10+ years in a variety of fields including education, counseling, performing arts, hospital inpatient/outpatient services, nannying and babysitting. I have worked with the entire span of ages from infants to adolescents and also have experience working with special needs. I have current first aid and CPR certification for adults and infants/children. I am currently an employee at Lurie Children's Hospital Chicago working in direct patient care for psychiatric services. I am originally from the city of St. Louis but moved to Chicago in 2009 to attend Loyola University. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Psychology in 2013. We have had great experiences with Maya every time she is with our two kids. Our 3 year old ask for her to come back and "take care of his sister" every weekend so he can have another play-date with Maya; it's great that he doesn't even realize she'd also taking care of him.

She was wonderful with both our boys (newborn and 2 years old) my 2 year old still asks when she is going to come play again. I ended up running late coming home and she was super sweet about it and flexible. We will be using her again!

Maya is so personable and amazing with kids! My girls took to her immediately! She was on time and did above and beyond what she was even asked to do. We will definitely be asking her to babysit again!
