I have babysat children 3 mos. to 9 years. I only babysit in my home. The first child I watched came at 3 mos. and still comes to stay with me when he is off of school, he is 12. I do not drive your children anywhere unless it is an emergency. I have a 31 year old, 24 year old and 17 year old. I have a 3 year old granddaughter. I now watch 3 children 2 of which are part-time, meaning they come full days but only a few days a week. I would love to have 1 full-time. These children are 2 boys and 1 girl. I babysat for an attorney who works for D.C.F.S., an Oak Lawn High School teacher, a 911 operator, and a woman who is in marketing. My sister is a kindergarten teacher who covers for me in the summer for the Read more 1 week vacation I take per year I have never called in sick and don't have a problem watching your children if they are "getting a cold" etc.. I worked after 6 weeks with all my children and I realize how important it is to have someone you can rely on and I think I am that person.
