I’m not currently looking for a position, thank you. I started babysitting in college to earn extra money. Eventually, I realized I was more interested in my job than what I was studying. Since, then I decided to become a career nanny. In a previous job I managed a team that developed and executed an issues-based after-school program in a Chicago Public School in the Austin Community. The program was for 3rd through 5th grade students. I was trained in classroom management and positive/negative reinforcement discipline method. I was also trained in literacy tutoring. This job experience and training, though limited, has proven so useful in almost every nanny and babysitting job. Currently, I nanny part-time for school age brothers. I’ve been with the same family since the oldest was an infant. Unfortunately, it’s now time I move back to full time hours.

Denise was our nanny from September 2009 to August 2011. She was amazing! She helped us potty train, cooked, planned special outings and so much more. My son loved her to bits! I highly recommend her for babysitting/nanny jobs. In fact, I'd love to have her back...Denise?

Last Saturday evening, Delia babysat for our 2 and 4 year old boys for the first time. She arrived on time, was calm but cheerful, and our boys seemed to enjoy her. She put them both to bed w/o problems, and on time. At the end of the night, she gave us a full report. I would definitely feel comfortable using her again!
