For eight consecutive summers I have cared for a diabetic child (2-10 years old) which required me to monitor and record her food intake, check her blood sugar, and give her insulin. I was a nanny for older children (10 and 13) for an entire summer which required me to drive them to practices, make them meals, and help them with summer school homework. I'm a Bilingual/Bicultural and Elementary Education major and have had extensive experience working with children in classrooms (2nd-8th grade).
