I was employed at the same company for 10 years as a receptionist. I'm grateful for that experience and opportunity. However, certain life events have made me re-evaluate what I want to devote my time and life to. I have a very compassionate and nurturing nature. So I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life working to try and make a difference in the lives of others. It is important to me to make people feel loved, worthy, and to treat others as I want myself or my loved ones to be treated, so I recently went back to school to pursue a degree that would encompass this dream. So far, I've completed my second semester and currently have a cumulative 4. 0 GPA. I obtained my Illinois Certification as a Nurse Asst. as well as certification for the American Heart Assoc. Basic Life Support for Read more Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program. Children are such a blessing and time as a child is taken for granted. They are our future! As a society it is our responsibility to make their childhood the best it can be and help them become happy, productive members of society. As a working mom of 3 wonderful children, I know that either we have no choice but to work to make ends meat, or there is a career out there calling you to make your own contribution to the world. Yet, we cringe at the thought of leaving our most precious treasures in the hands of someone else. It is a daunting task to find someone responsible and dedicated; let alone caring, loving, compassionate, honest & fun. It would be an honor for me to provide those things for your children just as I would desire someone to do for mine. My time would be devoted to your children through a repertoire of activities - fun, healthy and educational. I have experience with children of all ages. Nothing can take our place as a parent, but we hope for the next best thing. I would love to explain in detail why I would fit that description. I also have a passion for the elderly. So often they are over-looked or left behind in a sense; which is unfortunate because they have so much to offer. During my CNA clinicals I was blessed with the opportunity to care for some wonderful people and I have never been the same. They carry a wealth of wisdom if only we'd take the time to listen. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect , compassion and celebrated for our uniqueness & individual gifts. Please give me the opportunity to care for your loved one(s) and make a difference in their life as well as mine. :)
