Seeking opportunities for a career within Special Education, where I can use my skills, work with many different types of people in a positive environment, and grow my knowledge in the field. I believe that the skills I have obtained over the years can be a great asset to you. I am professional and friendly. I ran my own arts-based after-school program for teens, have been a tutor, volunteer soccer coach, 4-H leadership, and served my community through a drama summer program I directed. I have been working with children my whole life, and as of 2021 have had some more experience with the world of Special Education. For a few months, I had the opportunity to have a flexible schedule and become a long-term substitute with the Georgetown Independent School District, where I would eventually go onto meet the family that I currently nanny for. I have been privileged enough to spend time with BCBAs, teachers, RBT, other therapists, and truly start my journey into this world. I am able to take instruction and apply it, as well as being assertive enough to give direction when necessary. I work well with a team as well as with new people of all backgrounds, and love to learn from others in any setting I am put in. I am outgoing, well-spoken, and have the ability to communicate well with everyone. I put my all into everything I do, whether I am writing reports, conducting meetings, inventorying and forecasting, or working out. I keep a positive attitude, and am passionate about my work; ensuring my every action is something I can be proud of. With 10 years of babysitting, over 1000 hours working as a Special Needs Nanny, and experience working alongside therapists, and specialist, coupled with my desire to further my education in this career-field, I have no doubt my success at learning with, growing from, and having fun with any family or child willing to start a new life long relationship.
