I am a 24 year old high school English teacher who is excited to work with children of all ages! I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2011, with a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education. To give you an idea of my experience working with children; in college, I worked as an aide in a day care center working with children ranging from infants to 6 years old. I also volunteered as a counselor for Camp Kesem, a free summer camp for children whose parents have or have had cancer. Through this opportunity, I worked with children ranging from 5-12 years old and served as the Athletic Director my senior year. This rewarding experience inspired my passion to continue working with children and teens in my professional career. Currently, I am a high school English teacher and I coach the Speech and Drama team.
