Hi folks! I'd like to take the time to share with you a little bit about myself in regards to personal as well as professional aspects. First and foremost I come from quite a large family. Both of my parents are the youngest of six, all of whom now have a handful of children themselves. I am one of six as well, the eldest to be exact. With 25 years of marriage, my parents have built a family upon a strong foundation of morals, values and traditions. With that said, I have grown to appreciate all that I've been taught throughout my years as the the oldest child. I've always felt a serious responsibility for my siblings, providing them with the comfort, security and guidance that allows them to healthily grow into adolescence. I chose to take on the responsibility of caregiver from the moment I was capable. I've always Read more cherished the idea of family and my greatest love would be to some day, have one of my own. Until then, I stay close to my family and take the utmost care of each and every one of them. Like I've said, with 25 years of marriage my parents have yet to stop additions onto the family and I am very happy to say that my baby brother Simon Peter, will be turning 2 this March! Family brings the greatest joy to my heart and has shaped me in every aspect of my life. I have been certified in CPR as a lifeguard as well as courses in food sanitation. Currently, I work as an administrative secretary and babysit children of friends and family when needed. I am interested in Sittercity for a handful of reasons... One being that I am currently working towards completion of my BA in Literature, Sittercity would provide me the time to do so as well as continue on to a MA in literature as well. Second, I've dabbled in quite a few different avenues of job choices. I've worked as a distributor for a grocer company as well as the front of house manager for a "hip" little restaurant. With that being said, I haven't found the proper employment to provide the time for schooling whilst working in a field I love... Prior to her dream career, a girlfriend of mine was a nanny through Sittercity and recommended that I give it a shot... So here I go! Parents, I will give the utmost respect to your children as well as your home. I will provide a safe and comfortable experience for your children all the while educating them in a fun effective manner!
