Hello, I'm 21 years old, and I have 6 years of experience in the childcare field caring for children ranging in age from 4-13 years old. My most recent nannying position has been with a wonderful family with 4 children for almost 4 years. It was truly amazing being welcomed into apart of their family. I’m hoping to create another meaningful connection and become a role model for more children! I received my Associate’s degree from College of DuPage in Illinois, and am aiming to earn a Bachelor's degree within the next few years. I’m waiting a year to apply for in-state tuition, so I’m looking for a position I can commit to. Any transportation would be no sweat, I have my own car, so I'm able to drive/pick up your kids from school, or take them to any activities or appointments they may have. In addition, I have 2 Read more years of paid experience tutoring kids in my neighborhood, so I've learned to develop individualized learning strategies that allows each child to succeed, and more importantly for them to feel confident in themselves. Every child responds to different approaches, but it’s easy for me to get along with children once I get to know their personalities and behaviors. Some of the most pure and insightful conversations I’ve had were with young minds. When homework is done and there's free time, I'll usually encourage to play outside or to play board games, depending on what your child’s interests are! I love taking interest in children’s unique interests, I appreciate their great amazement and curiosity for the world. With grand ambitions, children are usually fearless, sometimes acting without thinking. That’s why I’m always conscious of their safety first and foremost. I'm always going to be silly goofball looking on the brighter side, and that's what helps me connect with kids easily. It makes me happy if I can help to see through that kids can enjoy their youth and have positive childhood experiences they can carry with them into adolescence and adulthood. The care and wellbeing of children is a great responsibility that I don’t take lightly. That's why I learned and trained to become CPR and first aid certified. My strong work ethic leads me to manage an organized household that is optimal for success, my time management allows me to develop meaningful conversation whilst multitasking.
