From as young as I can remember I always wanted to work with children. I was eager to start babysitting and was overjoyed when I got to start when I was in middle school. My love for children has continued to grow over the years. I have worked in my church's nursery since I was sixteen. I babysat/nannied for various families over the years. Just last summer I was a summer camp counselor at my local YMCA to 1st graders. I am finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and will be attending graduate school at the University of Illinois Chicago in the fall where I will be pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work specializing in Children, Youth and Families. I will be moving to Chicago's West Loop in Mid-May.
