Hi! My name is Lisa and I’m 30 years old. I graduate in 2019 with a Bachelors in Science in Psychology. I am now pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing degree through a direct entry program at Alverno College. I have been a nanny for 12 years now and I have extensive experience and knowledge caring for newborns and children ages one to ten year old. I am a Newborn Care Specialist with expertise in sleep training. Babies are sorta my specialty. I also have experience with multiples, caring for up to five children ranging from newborn to seven years old. I am very passionate about caring for newborns and children and providing education and support to parents. I have excellent references and am still part of every family I have nannied for the last 12 years. While nannying, we enjoyed going to the park, taking bike rides and Read more doing arts and crafts. I enjoyed reading to the children and did whatever I could to help them intellectually. I have knowledge and experience in sleep training as well as infant interactions for proper development. I also have experience with great success in potty training. My goals is to tend to the individual needs of each child with a nurturing and compassionate approach. I have also been certified as Nursing Assistant since 2011. I worked as a CNA at an assisted living home shortly after receiving the certification and then moved on to work at a hospital as a Patient Care Tech and as an OB/Postpartum tech caring for newborns and post-partum mothers. I am extremely passionate about the neonate and pediatric population and would love to continue to provide care throughout nursing school. I look forward to providing my experience, knowledge and care to more families and children!
