Starting in middle school and continuing throughout high school, college and present day, I have actively babysat for neighbors, cousins and referred households. I participated in a hands-on childcare course and first aid certification. I am now a graduate from the University of Illinois living in Chicago and am looking for babysitting opportunities outside of my day job. I am available early mornings, nights and most weekends. I love spending time with children of all ages and prefer to provide "active care" - spending time outside or working on homework activities rather than posting up on the couch. Having lived on my own, I am very accustomed to cooking and cleaning, and will be more than happy to help out around the house!
