I have a variety of experience working with, tutoring, and babysitting children and teenagers ages 4-15. I volunteered at the Association to Benefit Children (ABC) in New York for two years (on and off), assisting in their kindergarten after-school program. I was a sitter for multiple families both in New York and in Evanston, IL, where I went to college at Northwestern University. I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Theatre, but as Northwestern is a research university, I have a wealth of knowledge in literature, languages (French, German, Hindi), and programming, so I am often asked to tutor the children I babysit. I really enjoy spending time with children and indulging their active minds -- I'm always up for a story, for games that involve imagination (I have a background in Creative Drama with Rives Collins at Northwestern), and for helping with homework. It's exciting to observe how Read more children think about and engage with the world around them. I'm very conscious about safety when I babysit; I want to be able to provide each child with an adequate amount of attention and care, especially when it comes to outdoor activities, which require additional precautions and heightened vigilance. I prefer to babysit a maximum of two young children at a time.
