I am a ParaEducator at a south suburban special needs school. I believe an outstanding teacher possesses the passion, leadership, classroom management, content knowledge, and communication skills to accommodate the needs of all of their students. A passionate teacher should always engage all students to ensure a more active approach in the learning process. I would address a wide range of skills and abilities in my classroom by differentiating my core instruction in order to meet the needs of all my students. There are several ways in which I could differentiate my instruction. I would have students work independently, in a whole group, in pairs and in a small group. Therefore, they have a chance to not only learn from me but also from others as well as themselves. I would also encourage my students to ask questions, participate in discussion as well as group activities. The fact is I Read more want them to get comfortable opening themselves up and feel accepted--which will allow my students to get the full educational experience, they will not only learn our curriculum but will learn life knowledge that will help transition them into the real world, because having am education is great but how to get from place to place in life can be very difficult, not everyone understands you as an individual, and it's not expected that people will. However, it's how students as individuals view themselves, and if they can see themselves in any particular situation anything can be achieved. Greatest fear in life is the fear of not knowing what will become of us as individuals, but that can easily be guided and strengthened.
