I am a n active senior, grandmother of 2 girls. I have cared for special needs adults and others as a CNA and DSP over the past years. I have been a In home child care provider for the past 5 yrs. The ages i have taken care of has been newborns up to 5 yrs of age. I work with the kids doing crafts, learning the alphabet and numbers along with phonics and just regular play. We have a big back yard for the children to play on outside and I keep them quite active inside. I serve breakfast, lunches and 2 snacks each day and provide the food except I do not provide baby food .,That I leave up to the parents. My Daycare runs from 5:30AM thru 5:30PM Monday thru Friday. I also take kids from ages newborn up to 5 yrs of age. I have CPR Read more training for children and adults. I also watch my 2 grandchildren who are age 3 an 18 months and they enjoy the other children they play with. I come from a big family and have always watched several of my 23 nieces and nephews along with our 2 kids who are now grown .I enjoy kids very much and stay active to keep up with them . We do have a dog and she s older but we keep her separate from the kids just so we don:t make her or the kids nervous since some children are not used to pets in the house. I keep close eye on all my kids to keep them safe through out my day. I use a baby monitor for the babies at nap time an check them frequently while there asleep. My older kids use toddler cots and the babies use pack n plays for there naps.
