I'm sure you're very busy so I've outlined my profile in sections: What I do now: I am a teacher at a daycare in Lakeview. My main classroom is the toddler room (ages 15mo-24mo), but I also work in the infant room, the 2s, and the 3+ classroom when needed. I have been in my current role for over 6 months and love it. - I am CPR certified - I love pets - I have a cat - I am not a smoker - I have twin experience - I do not have a car - I do not have special needs experience Background: I have been an on-again-off-again nanny for 10+ years. My most recent nannying job was for a family in Lakeview with 3 amazing kids. I started with them in the summer of 2017; the children were 3, 6, and 7. Before moving to Lakeview, I Read more nannied for families in the suburbs (Wilmette + Deerfield): 12 and 8-year-old sisters, and 11-month-old twins. Between nannying, I worked at a hardware store, a cafe, a beverage distributing company, and an engineering firm. I've always found myself back working with kids because I love it. Education: I have a BA in Applied Behavioral Science. Before switching to my final major, I went to school for 3 years for Elementary Education, I attended Columbia College of Chicago for a year, and community college for 2 years. I truly never wanted to be an elementary school teacher, but I have a lot of teachers in my family who convinced me it would be a good fit; it wasn't. I much prefer the caretaker role to the teaching role when it comes to taking care of children.
