I am thirty-two years old, just celebrated my thirteenth-year wedding anniversary and I'm a mom to two awesome children! They are my world and I would do anything for them. It's only after having children of your own that you realize just how much your parents love you. My daughter Ariauna is ten and my son Calvin is eight. They are both in school now, they grow entirely too fast. I grew up in a big family as I'm the youngest of nine. My parents had seven biological children and adopted two children with special needs. They have a big heart. As I grew up there was always someone to take care of or look after. So, prior to having my own children I helped my parents with my brother who has Fragile-X-Syndrome and my sister who was crippled from cancer at the age of two. Then of course because Read more I was the youngest I had older siblings who had children of their own, and I spent lots of time babysitting my neices and nephews. When I wasn't helping with my immediate family, I was babysitting for the neighborhood children, being a nurses aide for the elderly and later working as a paraprofessional in the school district for children with special needs. Sittercity was brought to my attention by a friend. I would like to have a little extra income and taking care of children is something I can do for good families. It's also something I can do while still being able to care for my own family. I am looking to watch one or two children in my home. I have a nice play area and my home environment is set up to keep children safe and happy. While taking care of your children, I would treat them as if they were my own. Making sure they are well cared for and safe. I am comfortable taking care of children with disabilities and/or medical issues such as asthma. My Calvin has had asthma since he was six months old, so I am very experienced with this type of medical care. Our home is clean, almost all hardwood flooring, no pets, no smoking, we're healthy eaters, active, incorporate educational activities and we love arts/crafts.
