I have a tremendous amount of experience working with kids because I so thoroughly enjoy it! I was a counselor at an overnight summer camp for eight weeks, in charge of children going into their freshman year of high school. Additionally, this past year I volunteered at a day care with kids ranging from one year old to eight years old. After my time at the day care center, I worked at a transitory orphanage home, planning crafts and supervising children from ages four to fifteen. I spent around five hours each morning at my volunteer placement and engaged the kids in various activities such as puzzles, books, educational and recreational games, art projects, etc. in order to achieve significant developmental growth. Furthermore, I've had various babysitting jobs in the past and am comfortable doing light housework, preparing meals, planning activities for the kids, and more.
