I have always loved working with kids. I was a camp counselor for two years at camp Kamaji for girls, a sleep-away camp for girls in northern Minnesota. My experience there included taking care of specific aged girls during the night time activities (5:00 pm-9:00 am the following morning) as well as teaching the entire range of campers (aged 8-15) throughout the day. My past summer and this summer, I am a lifeguard at the park district of highland park, so I am very responsible and comfortable enforcing rules while allowing the kids to have fun as well. Being a lifeguard, I am CPR, first aid and AED certified as well.
