Hello, my name is Mariya! I just graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies this past spring. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician for a company that provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis services for children on the autism spectrum. I am planning on attending grad school come fall, but am looking for a summer position in the meantime. I have nannied for many families part time and full time. The past two summers, I was responsible for two children ages five and eight. I worked full time through the summer and never missed a day of work. Some activities we did included going to the pool, taking bike rides, playing indoor and outdoor games, and one craft a week. I was also in charge of taking each child to any extracurricular activities they were signed up for. I Read more am comfortable preparing meals and pets are not an issue! We have just moved to a new town, and we're interviewing babysitters by having them come play with me at home for two hours. Halfway through, my 4.5 year old ran down the stairs to tell me she was the right babysitter for him. He was acting out a lot when Mariya first came, and she was so kind and patient with him. She handled his energy and behavior with more patience, grace, and fun then I can often manage. Based on our first experience with her, we highly recommend Mariya!
