I am a student at Northeastern Illinois University, and I intend to get my bachelors in education. I have always envisioned myself having my on classroom, in where I can guide and care for others. I started babysitting as a summer job, ever since I was in high school. It was nothing new to me because I have younger siblings that I had to look out for. I have worked with 3 families; The Barreto's, Escobedo's, and Diaz's. In each home, I created a well-trusted bond with the parents and the kids. In these homes, I was able to create fun and educational activities with the kids. I worked with kids as young as 3 years to as old as 12 years. I have potty-trained, attended school events, planned play dates, celebrated birthdays. Babysitting is more than a job when you get to know and grow with each child. I Read more wouldn't trade this job for anything because it has been a wonderful experience and it's amazing to witness the growth of a child.
