Hi! My name is Katie Balinski and I am 23 years old. I am currently a nanny, but am looking for a new placement with a new family. I have 8 years of cumulative experience with children ranging in ages from newborn to pre-teen. I am CPR certified, first aid certified and trained, I have potty training experience having trained both sexes, I am a volunteer soccer coach, and I also teach all of my "kids" basic sign language. I know that every mother wants the very best for her children and that is what I am offering to you; my very best. I am a very energetic, outgoing, silly, and positive person. I have always beleived that if I can make a child feel comfortable and secure while they are in my care, then we can do anything we set our minds to. I would plan activities for your Read more daughter so that she would be stimulated on an intellectual level as well as a creative one. With the family I am currently with I take the kids to the park, we go to the local library where we participate in the reading club, and I plan fun and educational outings for their children. This week we went to the Fremont Public Library and to the local park. We would do something EVERY day; I would never let them watch tv all day, I would rather be out collecting leaves for a fall leaf collection or feeding fish at the park. Unlike a day care which is run on a general schedule, I would come to you at your convenience. You have the benefit of personal care and one on one attention for your daughter as well as the benefit of putting her on a schedule YOU choose and activities planned specifically for her needs. I cook healthy, nutritious meals each day because not only is it fun for the children to "help" in the kitchen, but it is also soooooo much better for them than eating blue box macarroni everyday. I hope that you find the best care giver for your family because children deserve to be cherished and encouraged, and I know that I could be that person because I am one of the best out there.
