My name is Myrna Sobhy. I am a 23 year old from Lake Forest, IL and I am living in Foxhall currently after finishing my masters in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown last year. I am currently working as a medical assistant for an oculoplastic surgeon in Bethesda, MD. I am currently applying to medical schools, and hope to matriculate in the fall. Since I was 14 years old, I have been volunteering every summer and every Friday night throughout the year at my church in Palatine for a number of positions such as: choir co-director, Vacation Bible School leader, Sunday School teacher, etc. All of these positions have given me experience with entertaining, problem-solving, and conflict resolution for children of various age groups. Being a prominent servant in my Church, many families have hired me for babysitting jobs for family retreats, family weddings, and personally for their own children.
