I'm a Junior at Lake Forest College. I'm a Business major with an Entrepreneurship and Computer Science minor. I was born and raised in St. Louis, and am the youngest of four. My siblings are so much older than me that I have four nephews. I have regularly watched a set of my oldest sister's three boys, ages nine, seven, and 5, as well as my other sister's newborn. I have no problem watching more than one child, and have already learned that babysitting every age requires a different outlook. One thing that I'm adamant about is the importance of being active. It goes without saying that having the child be active is healthier than a day of playing video games and watching TV. More importantly, I firmly believe that days spent playing baseball and biking to the beach are the memories that last from our childhood. While the majority of my babysitting experience is with boys, I have no difficulty watching girls. I as my younger cousins know, I have no problem playing barbies, and my nails have been painted more times than the average lacrosse player should. On that topic, I am the captain of the Lake Forest College Men's Lacrosse team. I have experience coaching children's lacrosse, both Men's and Women's. I coached in alternative to simply watching a child before, if this is something that interests you or your child.
