Hello! My name is Ashley and I just graduated college from Creighton University with a degree in Neuroscience! This upcoming August I will be starting an AmeriCorps position, but I am looking for work this summer in Omaha! I am a member of the organization Best Buddies, and have 4 years of experience of working with children and adults with special needs. I additionally have worked at Brookdale Senior Living, an assisted living facility, in which I helped residents do daily activities such as showering, dressing, eating, etc. Besides that, I have babysat for my many neighborhood kids from all different backgrounds. So, I am comfortable working with all types of children, families, and situations! I also feel confident in my ability to tutor grade and middle school subjects, so I am available to help grade and middle schoolers with any summer school homework as well! I have also been Read more involved in a camping and hiking club at school, research, and have worked two semesters as a Teaching Assistant. I am outgoing, dependable, hardworking, easy going, patient, and caring. I would love to do outdoor activities, sports, anything! I do have a car and can provide my own transportation! I will be doing about 15-20 hours of research per week, however, I do get to pick my own schedule as long as I fit in the hours, so I can work completely around your children's needs!
