Terra’s Bio
I worked at the YMCA for 3 years in the kindergarden and toodler room. I planned summer camp activities. I was a teachers aid in a kindergarden and a first and second muli-class for 2 years. I was also involved in the mentoring for Big Brothers, Big Sisters program at my college for 2 years. I have work experience with children with disabilities. I worked for North Dupage Special Education Cooperative as a Program Assistant. I worked in the class room and am familiar with behavioral plans and DT (a teaching technique for disabled children). I have also attended training for tube feeding. I also have a younger brother who has Autism. I have also worked for NESDRA and trained individuals with special needs for Special Olympics.
I have my Masters in Special Education and taught English in South Korea for 2 years. I have assisted in raising over a dozen children and have an unbelievable ability to make learning fun in every way.
