I may be young, but I actually have more babysitting experience than many would think of an only child. Since I grew up with just my mother and I, I've always craved having a sibling, which was well taken care of when I became like family to one of my female friends, to whom has 10 other brothers and sisters and only 2 of them are older than I am. In any case, I had babysat ALL of them because I would supervise even the older boys! They couldn't cook (to which I can), they wouldn't clean (to which I don't mind at all), they debated who would change the youngest babies diapers (to which I had no problem taking initiation), and even socialization and rules weren't much of a problem either. For so many children in one house hold, you would think there would be a lot of chaos, Read more and there was surely a bit of that, I grew up with them from kindergarten, and I still help to this day. This isn't my only babysitting experience of course, but it is definitely a big part of how well of a sitter I had become. I can build a connection with almost any child, I know some may be very hesitant and shy, or even a handful and like to cause scenes. There isn't much I can't get around, at the least after I adapt to the child and the situation at hand. I'm your typical 'house-mom' babysitter, and love to take kids outside to be active and maybe even out to the zoo and such every once in a while. My grandmum is currently babysitting for a family friend and even though neither of us have vehicles, we have come to find that taking public transportation with children opens their horizons greatly, in several ways. I am currently becoming CPR certified, and if medical guidance is needed, I can absolutely provide, I also grew up taking care of my mother medically and being of assistance while she provided the necessities for a stable home! My background experience with children is quite great, and I don't mean because I watch Supernanny, but because I actually love the feeling of watching over a child and guiding them through the most important stages of their lives. I feel I am a good influence, since I stray from bad behaviour and drugs, as well as being quite intelligent. As for money, I am just trying to save up, I am not concerned with burning a hole in a parents pocket, but I do believe that time is money. Even if I were to be paid late, or paid less than I have in mind, I'm not one to complain if I can be of help to any working parents. Contact me as soon as possible, thanks.
