I currently am a junior nursing student at Saint Louis University, St. Louis Missouri. In my nursing journey I’ve realized that I love working with children and after my pediatric clinical this love of mine was validated. In the summer of 2013 and 2014 I was a camp counselor for kids k-8 in the fashion session. During camp I would assist the main teacher in what ever she needed and help guide the campers on their garments. I would help cut out fabric, sew, and help them use a hot glue items. For the last two summers I have babysat two boys ages 6 and 10. My daily tasks included making them breakfast, lunch, and snack, taking the oldest child to soccer practice and going to the park with the younger child, some cleaning around the house, and doing fun activities at home.
