Homeschool mom for 6 years, ballet/tap/jazz instructor for children ages 2-12, masters degree, and no desire to return to a "regular" job. I'd rather hang out with children and engage in age appropriate creative play, story time, dress-up, listening to music, building blocks, science projects, cooking creations, library visits, butterfly museum, walks to the park, playing a game or putting puzzles together. I am highly creative and adaptable. I feel it is my responsibility to make activities available, interesting, varied, and child centered. Everything a child does is an integral part of the learning process. If they like digging in dirt we can plant a garden. The next day we may wash bikes, or play catch, or paint with bubbles.
