My name is Cody Moris and I am 18 years old. I am a current senior in high school at Lincoln Way Central and will be graduating this summer. In the fall, I will be attending the Ivy League college of Cornell University. I am also a competitive swimmer and will be swimming in college. I have been a life guard since I've been 15 years old and that is where a bulk of my experience has come into play. For the past two summers along with some work in the fall, I have done swim lessons with children ranging 3 years old to 12 years old. These swim lessons are through my club swim team. I also life guard during my gym class where I have had experience caring for Aunt Nancy daycare children as well as kids in high school. Through my life guard training I have received Read more certification in CPR and First Aid. For a while I also have babysat cousins and family friends which includes taking them on various trips and doing several activities. I highly enjoy working with children because it amazes me how pure and warm hearted they truly are! Working with kids is such a rewarding experience because you have an ability to make a great impact on their lives while they can also touch your heart. I also am very interested in helping children in developing countries and have looked into doing volunteer work in future years.
