First of all, I love kids and I have been babysitting ever since I was old enough to. Now that I live in Normal instead of my home town, I looking for a family or a couple families around here that could use a sitter! I am the oldest of 4 children in my family and I have always loved being around kids and helping out with them. When I was 13 I took a babysitting class and officially became a certified babysitter. I am currently working towards my undergrad in Special Education at Illinois State University. Babysitting Experience: All through high school I had around 5 families at a time I would babysit for on occasion. I had two families I babysat for on a regular weekly bases. One of them was an only child the other had 5 children. I still babysit on occasion for families back at Read more home or my younger cousins. Nannying experience: The past 4 summers I spent 15-20 hours a week nannying for the same family with 5 kids. When I started the youngest was 2 and the oldest was 10. Age Range: 1 year old- 12 years old Further Info: For one kid I charge $9 an hour for 2 to 5 kids I charge $10 an hour. I do not have a car right now, but I live in Normal and can walk or take the bus. WINTER BREAK 2015: I would love to help out a family with daytime care during the first week of winter break if anyone needs it! I used to do this at home every break before my family moved. I am not available after the 29th this year. SUMMER 2016: I am interested in finding a family in Normal or Blooming-ton who needs daytime care for their children during the summer. I might have a car by then, but cannot guarantee that yet. I would happily take your kids to any activities within walking or biking distance regardless. I have provided summer care for a family for the past 4 years but will not be in my hometown this coming summer. OCCASIONAL BABYSITTER: I will be available from now through the 28th of December for occasional babysitting positions and may be available if given prior notice January- April.
