I'm a full-time nanny during the week for a fantastic family, so I'm just looking to pick up a few extra weekend days/evenings per month. I'm great for date nights! My approach to nannying is one of patience and efficiency. I am a nurturer by nature; I am the oldest female of 28 cousins in a large Irish/Italian family. There's hardly been a time in my life where I have not been watching kids. I love to help with homework, make meals together, play games, take walks or trips to playgrounds and do craft projects. Whether it's drawing a picture or making a macaroni collage or singing songs together, the kids I nanny have a wonderful time. I have also worked in the Information Technology field, so I am well versed in all things related to electronics and social media (always a concern for those with older children). I have Read more cared for children ranging from age 4 months to 15 years old. I've been there to make all three meals, send them off to school, pick them up and bring them to lessons and practices, and have dinner on the table by the time everyone gets back home.
