I am currently a first-year nursing student in a program where all of my classes are online. Before moving to Oakbrook I worked at Little Hearts and Hands daycare in Champaign, Illinois for 4 years as a teaching assistant. I have worked with 2 year olds, 5 year olds, 3 year olds, and filled in for many of the other classrooms of various ages. While working at the daycare I worked with as little as 16 children at once, with one other teacher in the room. I have babysat for numerous families in Champaign and I love being around and working with kids! I am on track to graduate in May of 2015 and I hope to work as a nurse in the PEDs unit or in the labor and delivery unit!
