I am a social worker by day, so I'm looking for babysitting jobs in the evenings and on weekends. I have many years of babysitting/nannying experience; it is the one job I love going to every day! Something that parents appreciate about me is that I will always clean up after the kids and myself-there will never be toys laying out or dishes in the sink! I don't believe in using the television as a babysitter-I like to read to kids, play games, go to a local park when it is nice outside, etc. I am happy to help you with small chores around the house too-such as dishes or light cleaning. Although I said I do not like pets, that only applies to large dogs. I do have experience working with children with developmental delays such as autism and Down Syndrome as well. Marcia is our daughter's first sitter and as a worried first time mom I feel very confident in Marcia's abilities. She is very patient, caring and has a pleasant personality. Our daughter eats, sleeps and plays well when Marcia sits for her and is happy when I come home. Marcia is such a wonderful sitter that any family would be lucky to work with!

Marcia has been incredible. As we have no family around Marcia is the only one we leave Joshua alone with. We know that he is in excellent hands, and we do not need to call and check up, nor do I ever have to worry abut her tiding up she does it consistently. Joshua absolutely loves Marcia and does not even fuss when we laeve when she is around. Marcia feeds him, bathes him and puts him to bed. We will miss her, the only reason we are giving her up is because we are moving out of the area. I am sure anyone who has Marcia in their family will be extremely satisfied.
