This past fall semester (August - December 2014), I recently completed my student teaching in the Chicago Public Schools. I am currently in the process of getting my teacher certification for grades 5-12 English and grades K-12 English as a Second Language. I am a December 2014 graduate from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. I studied secondary education for teaching English and English Language Learners. This past summer (June - August 2014), I babysat for two families. For the first family, I cared for their two daughters, ages 7 and 9. Monday through Friday, I spent time with the girls before and after they went to their summer camp, averaging five to six hours per day. For the second family, I cared for their 3-year-old daughter once a week for three hours. After December 19, I am available for full-time opportunities because I have not found any second semester employment opportunities for teaching. Not only do I offer childcare, but I can also help your children with any academic work and/or difficulties. I am in the process of getting the following teacher certifications: Wisconsin License Grades 5-12 English, Wisconsin License Grades K-12 English as a Second Language, Illinois Professional Educator License Grades 5-12 English, and Illinois Professional Educator License Grades K-12 English as a Second Language.
