I'm a senior at Bradley University and I'm majoring in Elementary Education. I am CPR and First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross. I’ve had several experiences working with adolescents. I was a tutor for American Reads for two years. I planned short tutoring activities each hour I spent with the children ages 6-13. I was also a student aide at World of Wonder which is an organization at Bradley University. World of Wonder is an educational summer camp for gifted students. I assisted students, ages 6-13, in verbal communication, reading comprehension, mathematics, and science. I planned recreational and educational activities for gifted students as well. Lastly, I was a program assistant for the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association. I provided proper care and assistance to children with special needs, ages 4-14, and planned recreational activities for the children to participate in.
