I am a grandmother with one grandchild. I am in the process of leaving my husband who is emotionally abusive. I want to go to Milwaukee to be close to my daughter and my only grandchild. We just learned my daughter has stage 3 breast cancer so I want to be close enough that I can help out when needed. She has lots of friends and a very supportive husband so I probably won't be needed much, but if I live in the same town it will be easier to be there for her if I am needed. I raised 3 daughters mostly without their fathers as they were in the military when we were married so they were gone a lot. I also worked as an RN in a number of positions, mostly critical care, even a short stint in Pediatric ICU. I am very kind and liked by Read more most kids. I'm not a great disciplinarian so would need some parental guidance as to how you want your children disciplined. Some don't need it and that's okay with me. I babysat as a teenager as my parents were poor and that was how I paid for my clothes and other typical teen things. As soon as I was old enough to work, I got a job that paid more. For the past 8 years I have operated an award winning Bed & Breakfast but my husband bought the house so he will keep that so I can just leave. We have been married 13 years. His first wife took her own life when she got cancer. I now understand that. I am comfortable with 2 young children <age 5 but would not be comfortable with a 3rd unless the 3rd was 10 or over. My two youngest were 13 months apart, I used cloth diapers and my house was spotless. I have no idea how I did that! ;)
