I am a 21 year old female that lives in the Midwest, but is looking to relocate to Colorado. Any hours are fine and I am willing to be a live-in caretaker. I have no age preference and I would gladly work with adults as well as children. I am a hard-worker that loves to teach and have fun with creativity and the outdoors. I like to play games, read books, do art, make music, and I believe firmly in routine. I started my caretaking when I was a child and my uncle with developmental disabilities moved in our home; between him and working all of the special Olympics sports with my mom, I found that I work really well when I know I am taking care of someone else. My training comes mostly from experience and not from a class; most of life's experience is gained this way. I Read more was trained as a direct support staff for a group home that served developmentally disabled clients. I also have taken various psychology courses in the time I have studied in getting my AA.
