I am 20, turning 21 in April, and currently attend Illinois State University pursuing an Elementary Education major. I have worked with children throughout my major, as well as in my free time. I babysat throughout high school, mostly as-needed. In the summer of 2015, I nannied two girls full-time, aged 4 and 7 from May to August. I nannied from about 6am-4 p.m. every day and took on responsibilities such as: driving them to/from school, making them meals, taking them to the park, playing games with them, making crafts, playing outside, swimming, as well as light cleaning and laundry. I choose to babysit/nanny over any other job because it's something I actually enjoy doing. After the summer ended, I returned to ISU or I would've continued to nanny for this family.
