I am an experienced, non-smoking sitter. Additionally, I have been infant/child CPR & first aid certified for 10 years (recertified last August). Vaccines up to date, including COVID (plus booster), annual flu shot and whooping cough. A life-long Chicago resident, I have been a paid sitter since I was a teen, have three children of my own, am the eldest of six siblings and was a Girl Scout leader in Rogers Park/Skokie for 10 years. In my capacity as a GS Leader, I was trusted the care of numerous children on a bi-weekly basis, overnight camping weekends and international travel. I am punctual, patient, and genuinely enjoy caring for children. I am Read more an active person -- just recently (by recently, I mean just before the pandemic) participated in a Ragnar 200+ mile relay race, and continue to run 10k and half marathon events regularly. I am completely comfortable with infants, toddlers and school age children, as well as multiple siblings. For several years, I was registered/certified with the state to be a respite caregiver for children on the autism spectrum. I have a commitment with another family on Monday and Thursday evenings but am otherwise available weeknights and weekends day/evening/night. I am art-enthusiast, knitter, runner and solver of problems; happy to give you access to my social media so you can get to know me better in advance. I take caring for your child/children seriously, and also that of our working relationship! Bookings agree to these terms: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday minimum hours paid is 2.5 hrs. Saturday/Sunday minimum hours paid is 4 hours. Booking is payable for agreed upon duration even if you come home early. Late arrivals after agreed upon time is 1.5X the agreed upon rate. Felice was fantastic filling in for us on short notice for a very late night with our infant daughter. She was unflappable from the get-go as our daughter was being a bit difficult while we were giving her an orientation to the house. Felice has a very warm and kind demeanor which set us at ease and gave us regular updates both unprompted and when we texted to check in. We will call Felice again for sure.

Upon meeting Felice I immediately knew I could trust her to babysit my son, who was about 8 months old at the time. She too is a mom and totally 'gets' babies and their needs. My son was not the best napper and yet she was able to get him down with patience. While he was up, she played with him and kept him engaged and on schedule. Most importantly, Felice is super friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Felice!

Felice has been really responsive and provided great documentation and information around herself and was even open to share a bit about her and her family. She will be the first person we are entrusting to watch our little one and we feel very confident with our choice given all the open communication. Looking forward to many more future nights off with her help :)
