My educational background is in social work but my heart is with the little ones - especially babies, infants, and toddlers. I am currently a volunteer Nursery Coordinator at a local church and I volunteer regularly at the Crisis Nursery. I have experience not only in the practical aspects of care giving such as changing diapers, feeding and burping children, and cleaning up big and small messes, but I also love to actively play, read, and sing with kids and wonder at how much information they can absorb at such young ages. My past work experiences have given me lots of patience and flexibility as well as a sense of humor, commitment to details, and the initiative and drive to get done whatever needs to be done. I am American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR certified and will take an Infant CPR class this upcoming March.
