I have babysat since a teenager. My husband and I take care of his 4 kids from a previous marriage two days a week. They're 3-10 years old. I have also worked with people with developmental disabilities in the past and most recently I've been an RN for the last 8 years. I am looking to get away from the stress and noise and hustle bustle of the hospital though. I'd love to be able to give attention and care for and play with one or two or even three kids at a time. I'm also very comfortable with dogs having had big dogs and little dogs my whole life and I've even fostered sick and disabled dogs. Cats are ok two. I've lived with them and don't mind them. I am in the air national guard so one weekend a month and two weeks a year I am not Read more available but I would let you know well in advance of when that happens.
