My goal is to find a family who will hire me long term whether it be a full or part time position. I want them to have similar values in raising children and feel comfortable enough to view me as part of their family. I am a mother to a 10 year old girl who is in 5th grade, and a 4 yr old. I have 20 years of child care experience and 7 years of being a private nanny. I run a small home daycare and I have been in this business for 4 years. I use a standardized state curriculum so the children are prepared for preschool and Kindergarten. We have circle time daily and there is always a theme of the month and a different topic daily.
