Hello! I'm salma. I am an honors student at UIC (University of Illinois - Chicago) I am a pre-med student majoring in biology in hopes of becoming a psychiatrist. I am also CPR certified. I have been a Nanny for 5 years now . My experience with childcare comes from my mother, who has been a nanny for 14 years. Learning from her, working with children became more than just a job for me, I have grown to really love kids and building connections with them. I have worked with babies 8 months to children of ages 14. I have also worked with kids who have ADHD, ADD, as well as autism . I know every child and parent have different likes and interests, wether it is going out doors and being active, or staying inside for arts and crafts. I try to really help kids grow through the activities Read more we do together no matter what they may be. I love being able to have fun with the kids I care for and being able to be another person who the kids can trust ! I am a huge pet lover so if you do have pets, thats a win win, ha! Due to the fact I am also bilingual, I like to teach the kids that I nanny some Spanish (with parents OK of course). I am looking for either full or part time, or even just summer! Weekends as well if needed. I know that the pandemic is a very serious situation and I have been socially distancing ,so I will make sure to take precautions for kids !
