Hi parents! I hope you are having a wonderful week. My name is Kendall and I'm originally from the Chicago area. In the fall, I'll be a senior at Vanderbilt and am studying child development, sociology and English. When I graduate, I want to go to graduate school to become a school counselor. I love being involved in kids and families' lives! This summer, I have an internship with the Vanderbilt Office of Undergraduate Admissions and am working regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 9-5. I'm available to babysit on nights and weekends! I have my own car and am able to drive or take public transportation to your home. My calendar is updated, and I am usually free for last-minute bookings! I absolutely love working with kids. I started babysitting when I was 11 years old as a mother's helper for a family on my block, and kept babysitting for Read more several families all through high school. In high school, I worked as a counselor at a summer day camp for two summers. The camp was focused on arts and crafts so I LOVE doing art projects with kids when babysitting. In high school, I also led a dance company for kids with disabilities, so I am big on movement as well! If it's nice out, I also love taking kids outside to play! I also understand how stressful it can be to come home to a messy house, so whenever possible I will do the dishes and clean up, and am more than willing to do specific tasks if asked! I've worked with kids of all ages, from infants to junior high. I also have experience working with kids who have autism and Down syndrome.
