I have been babysitting since I was in 5th grade, I started out caring for three girls, aged 2, 4, and 6. I consistently babysat this family along with two other families until my freshman year of highschool. Eventually, all of the kids became too old, and I started babysitting new families. For the most part, I started to babysit for my boss' children, and did overnights as well as just nights. Two years ago, my sister had a baby and I became an aunt. One year ago, she had a second baby. I have babysat on over thirty occasions for her children and so I have experience with newborns as well as toddlers. Through the years, I have babysat small families as well as large families. I come from a family of five kids so I am used to big families. I have been around kids for a huge Read more majority of my life (due to babysitting), and I aspire to help kids when I'm older (I want to be a teacher). I think babysitting is a great way to supplement my passion for teaching because it requires being responsible in dealing with kids, keeping them engaged in activities and being someone they can trust and go to for help.
