My name is Katrina and I have been baby-sitting and working with children since 13. I am the oldest of four and am a very responsible, caring and creative caregiver. I went to school and received my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a toddler/2-year-old teacher from the age of 19 until 22. I was the lead teacher and was responsible for five-eight children with the help of an assistant. As you can imagine, I am very good at multi-tasking! I have also been a nanny over the summer for multiple families with two-four children. I have lots of experience with newborn to school age children, and have worked the most with infants to the "terrible twos". I strive to have fun while still being educational and creative and love to take the kids on trips to the park, local pool, zoo, etc. I’m a firm believer in the value of free play, using your imagination and playing in the backyard as well as organized activities, circle time, storytime and art activities.  I am very organized; I have no problem doing light housekeeping, the children's laundry, and picking up the house. I have my own car and a very good driving record and am willing to run errands or take your children to school or extra-curricular activities. Since I had my daughter in July 2010, I have worked as a nanny for two families. From October 2011 until July 2012 I worked for the Mongomery's and watched their 3 children (aged 3mo, 18mo and 3 when I started) as well as my daughter and implemented a preschool curriculum for the older kids that the "babies" grew into.  Sadly, they moved to lessen their commute and since then I have nannied for a family with two boys who have become "bruders" to my now four year old.   I work Monday-Thursday and am looking to pick up extra income by babysitting for families nearby. I am off work on national holidays, school breaks and every Friday, as well as having the weekend available. I am only looking for a position in which I can bring my daughter.
