Hi parents, I'm Karissa :) I am a 23 year old Loyola University Chicago graduate looking for some part-time nanny work, 20-25 hours a week. I have been working with a family, (a (now) 11 month old girl and a 3 year old) for the past year full time and hope to switch gears a bit to part time work in the hope of pursuing some other passions of mine, such as yoga and holistic wellness. I have lots of experience under my belt, having worked with ages ranging anywhere from 1 month old infants to early adolescents. This includes swaddling, bottle preparation, developing consistent daily schedules, helping manage school schedules (drop off and pick up), homework help and light tutoring, motor skill development etc... I should also note here that I did take a Child Development class within my last year at Loyola. I love taking children to parks, zoos, kids museums and other positive, hands-on learning environments and interacting with them as they learn and grow.
